Reduce your carbon footprint with “green” BRECO® timing belts
Reduce your carbon footprint with "green" BRECO® timing belts
In polyurethane timing belt technology, designers no longer have to choose between ecology and maximum load capacity. With the new BRECOgreen and BRECOFLEXgreen range, manufacturer BRECO Antriebstechnik has put an end to this compromise.
37% renewable raw materials
At the heart of the new BRECO product line is an innovative thermoplastic polyurethane that consists of 37% renewable raw materials. Crucially, these raw materials do not compete with the human food supply. By using BRECOgreen and BRECOFLEXgreen timing belts, users in mechanical and plant engineering actively reduce their CO2 footprint without having to compromise on proven quality. This is because the "green" timing belts offer the same operational reliability, service life and load capacity as their petroleum-based counterparts. Delivering 100% performance with a significantly improved environmental balance – BRECOgreen timing belts are a decisive response to global ecological challenges.

The right "green" solution for every application
The BRECOgreen and BRECCOFLEXgreen timing belt range is versatile, covering the entire established BRECO portfolio of dimensions, pitches and customisation options. Areas of application are:
• BRECOFLEXgreen: Manufactured as truly endless belts without interruption of the tension member. The universal solution for all classic power transmission tasks.
• BRECOgreen-M (open-ended)): Supplied by the metre, these belts are ideal for high-precision linear drives.
• BRECOgreen-V (welded): The first choice for conveyor technology, offering flexibility for any centre distance and the option to be fitted with cams.
Note: The range includes almost all variants, with the exception of the high-performance belts of the BRECOmove® and BRECOFLEXmove® series, as well as injection-moulded timing belts.
The new belts are not only technically on par with the standard but also offer aesthetic flexibility: they are available in either green or white. This allows them to be seamlessly integrated into existing machine designs or used in the green version to send a visible signal for sustainability.
Ready for a green future? Start planning now!
The course has been set for sustainable drive technology. With delivery scheduled to start in April/May 2026, BRECO is making its sustainable timing belt range available to users worldwide. In Europe, distribution will be handled by the Mulco-Europe EEIG network. To ensure a seamless transition to this ecological product alternative, the technical consultants of the Mulco Sales Partners are already available for detailed application advice, allowing for the early integration of this new technology into future machine concepts.
